Top Five Easter Family Activities in Bromley

Not sure what to do in the Easter holidays? We have been on the hunt for some egg-cellent activities for you and your family to get involved in. Check out our top five picks!

1. Knole Park Easter Egg Hunt
With a hop and a skip, scamper along to Knole Park for their classic Easter Egg Hunt from the 25th to the 28th of April. The Cadbury bunny has hidden his chocolate eggs around Knole, leaving a trail of clues for you to find them. There are two trails available; one for children aged five and under, another aimed at 6-12 year olds. By following the trail through the green parkland, ancient courtyards and beautiful Orangery, you can claim your own Cadbury chocolate prize. Wrap up warm and don’t forget your wellies!

2. Kitchen Stars Cookery Workshops
If it’s rainy, why not keep warm at one of the Kitchen Stars Cookery Workshops? If you’re feeling peckish come along to the Easter Extravaganza Workshop and make some yummy chocolate hot cross buns or iced shortbread biscuits. Or, if you fancy something savoury, learn how to make crusty Seven Seeded Rolls, a delicious pate and some gorgeous spiced mini carrot cakes at the Super Spring Workshop. These workshops are perfect for young children and early teens looking to expand their cookery skills in a relaxed environment. These workshops will be taking place on the 3rd of April.

3. Arts and Crafts at the Bromley Museum
Feeling arty? Come along to the Bromley Museum’s Guerrilla Gardening event from Saturday 8th until Monday 10th April. These drop-in afternoon sessions allow your children to get creative; they can design a colourful flower or butterfly to go on the Museum’s garden wall or make a flower bomb explode! These sessions are recommended for ages four and above.

4. Fun at the Farm
Join in on the Easter festivities at Godstone Farm from the 25th of March to the 10th of April. With Spring in full swing, Easter is the perfect time to go and visit all the newborn animals. The online tracker, The New Arrivals Lounge, allows you to time your visits to co-ordinate with live births. Other activities taking place include spinning demos, a Hog’stacle course, Chick Hunt, meet and greet with Bubbles the Bunny and Shelley the Sheep, free arts and crafts and face painting.

This club offers both full and half days for children ages 4-11 the 2-5 April & 10-13 April.
