SCHOOLS IN HAYES

 

When moving to a new area, being close to a school is an important factor, if you have children or have plans to start a family. Hayes in Bromley, Kent is one area particularly popular with families. It benefits from plenty of green space, however, is within easy access of the nearby bustling Bromley town centre. Hayes has two areas, the village, known as ‘Old Hayes’ has traditional pubs and shops, whilst you’ll also find trendy cafés and shops in the high street (Station Approach), along with the train station. Pickhurst Academy
Rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, Pickhurst Academy is a popular junior school on Pickhurst Lane, with the motto of “Challenge Everything”. Describing itself as a ‘showcase academy’ the school is continuously developing creativity within its curriculum and is renowned for its sporting triumphs. It provides a diverse mix of clubs and extra activities for students to try, including chess, cricket, ju-jitsu, pottery, Spanish, sewing, dance and so on. There is also an opportunity for your youngsters to shine on stage through the school’s various theatrical productions. Baston House School
Baston House School provides co-educational schooling for up to 85 students aged between 5-19 with autistic spectrum conditions, Asperger’s syndrome, and associated communication and behavioural disorders. Hayes School (Secondary)
