Nuffield Health, Bromley
There are a whole handful of gyms in Bromley alone to choose from, with options for all budgets. At the higher end is Nuffield Health, whose off-peak membership starts at £70 per month. The price will grant you access to new Technogym equipment, a swimming pool with sauna facilities and beauty suite as well as free regular health MOTs and access to any of the other Nuffield clubs in the country.

TruGym, Bromley
If Nuffield’s a bit outside your price range, then there are a number of low-cost options also available. TruGym is conveniently located just five minutes from Bromley North station and has memberships starting from just £17.99 a month. The gym contains a number of weight zones, cardiovascular equipment, a protein bar and members’ lounge and saunas attached to the changing rooms. You can also get a day pass for £6 if you want to try before you buy.

One for the more serious fitness fanatics, Muscleworks, is part of a new wave of bodybuilding gyms offering a clean, well-maintained facility and equipment for a reasonable price. Despite marketing itself as a bodybuilding facility, the gym does welcome members of all levels, from those just looking to stay in shape to the weightlifting pros.
